FAQ

Why should I hire you?

First of all, have a look at my portfolio; do you like my photos in general? Are they in line with your taste and style? Being the mother of two energetic children and having photographed my friends and family for years, I have picked up a few tricks to maintain control over the photography sessions whilst not making the images look staged. In my view, the most magical moments are captured in a relaxed setting where there is room for playful little personalities to come to the fore. To make this happen you need to use creativity, be flexible and add a good portion of patience. My professional background has given me the ability to get organised and work to detailed specifications and deadlines so that all the administrative aspects around the actual sessions are running smoothly.

How do I book and what happens afterwards?

To book a photography session,  please contact me. I will be happy to discuss your ideas and requirements! After you have booked your session, I will send you an information sheet, which will give you valuable tips in order to prepare for, and get the most out of your session. I will also give you a call to find out a bit more about you and your family to get an idea of your personalities and answer any further questions you may have.

What if it rains on the day of our session?

In general, we will go ahead with the session even if it rains. Umbrellas make great photo props and most young (and old) children love jumping in puddles! If it is pouring however, or you had your mind specifically set on a sunny afternoon with backlit images, we will simply postpone the session. There is also the option to go indoors. I use fast lenses, which means I can get bright images even during darker conditions.
